Mission:

Lambda GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Greiner Bio-One GmbH, has established itself
as a leading company in the field of DNA-chip-technology. Our core competence lies in the
development and production of ready-to-use-kits for the detection of bacteria and viruses with
a focus on the diagnosis of infection. Further fields of research and development include food
diagnostics and quality control products for the pharmaceutical industry. We aim for the worldwide
establishment of DNA-chip-technology in diagnosis and for that purpose we develop new platforms
and integrated analysis systems.

  • 2003 ParoCheck®, market launch of the first worldwide CE-marked DNA-chip
  • 2004 CarnoCheck®, market launch, differentiation of animal species in food
  • 2005 Certification that the QM System according to EN ISO 1348:2003 and EN ISO 9001:20000
  • 2006 PapilloCheck®, market launch of the first DNA-chip for the typing of the human papilloma
  • 2007 Upper Austrian Award for Innovation 2nd place; Nomination for the Austrian National Prize for Innovation 
  • 2008 Mycoplasma Kit, market launch of the first DNA-chip for the detection of Mycoplasmas in
    pharmaceutical products.
